Originally released in 2015, Cherry Bomb captures Tyler, The Creator at one of his most experimental and unpredictable points. Moving beyond the darker, more abrasive sound of his early work, the album throws together jazz, funk, soul, punk, psychedelic rock and distorted hip hop into a deliberately chaotic and colourful mix. Tyler's production is maximalist and confrontational, constantly shifting between explosive noise, melodic passages and stripped-back moments.
