Originally released in 2012, Lonerism is the second studio album from Australian psychedelic project Tame Impala, led almost entirely by Kevin Parker. Recorded between Western Australia and Paris, the album expands on the hazy psychedelia of Innerspeaker with swirling guitars, warped synths, hypnotic grooves and layered production, while its introspective songwriting explores isolation, alienation and the desire to escape.
This 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition is presented as a 3LP black vinyl set, released on 26 May 2023 through Island, Interscope and Fiction Records. Alongside the original 12-track album, the expanded edition includes two previously unreleased demos, a full side of Assorted Sketches. 2010-2012 and a deluxe 24-page booklet, making it an essential collector's edition of one of the defining Australian psychedelic albums of the 2010s.
