Released in 2019, My Own Mess is the debut studio album from Australian surf-punk trio Skegss. Built around Ben Reed, Toby Cregan and Jonny Lani, the album captures the band's loose, sun-soaked approach to garage rock, blending fuzzy guitars, infectious melodies and laid-back punk energy. Following their Holiday Food EP, it established Skegss as one of Australia's most recognisable modern surf-punk bands.
This limited Red Vinyl pressing features the album's full 15-track sequence, including Up In The Clouds, Infinity, Road Trip, Paradise and the title track. Released through Loma Vista and Ratbag Records, My Own Mess balances scrappy garage-punk attitude with an easygoing Australian sensibility, capturing the energetic and unpolished character that has become central to the Skegss sound.
