Originally released in 2000, Stankonia is the landmark fourth studio album from Outkast and one of the defining records of Southern hip hop. André 3000 and Big Boi pushed their sound into increasingly experimental territory, combining funk, soul, psychedelic rock, electronic production and inventive Southern rap with a fearless sense of creativity. The result is a wildly ambitious album that feels as fresh and unpredictable today as it did at the turn of the millennium.
This 25th Anniversary 3LP edition expands the original album with a full LP of remixes and bonus material, including alternate versions of B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad) and So Fresh, So Clean. Pressed on striking purple marble vinyl, the collector's edition also includes unreleased photos, cover art by André 3000 and a glow-in-the-dark fold-out flag poster.
