Released in 2025, A Matter Of Time is the third studio album from Icelandic-Chinese singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Laufey, following her acclaimed album Bewitched. Drawing on jazz, classical music and contemporary pop, the album turns inward, exploring the complicated emotions of love, self-discovery and growing up. Produced with Spencer Stewart and Aaron Dessner, it finds Laufey expanding her intimate songwriting with richer arrangements and a more assured musical palette.
This Indie Exclusive Autumn Edition is pressed on Rouge coloured vinyl and includes a bonus 7-inch single, a 24-inch seasonal calendar poster featuring lyrics and photographs, an exclusive note from Laufey and a photo sleeve. Released on 22 August 2025 through Vingolf Recordings, the 14-track album includes Lover Girl, Silver Lining, Tough Luck and A Cautionary Tale, further establishing Laufey's distinctive blend of jazz-inflected songwriting, classical musicianship and modern pop.
