Released in 2023, Space Heavy is the fourth studio album from London-born artist Archy Marshall under his King Krule alias. Written between 2020 and 2022 while travelling between London and Liverpool, the album explores the idea of “the space between” — the emotional distance created by love, loss and disconnection. Developed with longtime producer and collaborator Dilip Harris and King Krule’s band, it brings together Marshall’s distinctive blend of atmospheric songwriting, jazz, post-punk and alternative rock.
This 15-track vinyl edition features the album’s singles Seaforth and Space Heavy alongside some of Marshall’s most richly textured and introspective work. Moving between sparse arrangements, distorted guitars, saxophone and understated rhythms, Space Heavy continues King Krule’s evolution into one of alternative music’s most distinctive voices.
