Released in 2013, 6 Feet Beneath The Moon is the debut studio album from South London singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Archy Marshall, better known as King Krule. Recorded with producer Rodaidh McDonald, the album blends slacker rock, post-punk, jazz, dub and hip hop into a dark, atmospheric sound shaped by Marshall's distinctive deep vocals and fragmented guitar work. Released shortly after his 19th birthday, it announced a remarkably assured and individual young artist.
This 2LP edition is pressed on 180g vinyl and housed in a fully textured gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves. Released through XL Recordings, the 14-track sequence includes Easy Easy, Baby Blue, A Lizard State, Neptune Estate and Out Getting Ribs, capturing the woozy, melancholic and genre-blurring sound that made 6 Feet Beneath The Moon an influential debut of the 2010s.
