Released exclusively for Record Store Day 2026, Big Fig Wasp is another wonderfully eccentric addition to King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's ever-expanding live catalogue. Issued through Having Fun Records, the release compiles four live performances from the band's Bootlegger Series, recorded across shows in Barcelona and New Orleans.
The real attraction is the format: this limited edition is pressed as a bee/bug-shaped picture disc, with the record itself shaped like a bee's face. Limited to 2,500 copies, it pairs King Gizzard's heavy, psychedelic live energy with one of the year's most unusual RSD pressings. $1 from every copy sold is also donated to pollinator charities.
