Released in 2024, Romance is the fourth studio album from Dublin-formed, London-based band Fontaines D.C., and their first release on XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford, the album marks a bold evolution from the band's earlier post-punk sound, incorporating heavier guitars, electronic textures and cinematic production while retaining Grian Chatten's distinctive, stream-of-consciousness songwriting.
This standard black vinyl edition is pressed as a 1LP and features the album's complete eleven-track sequence, including Starburster, Here's The Thing, Favourite and the title track. Released on 23 August 2024, Romance finds Fontaines D.C. embracing a more expansive and atmospheric sound, drawing on influences ranging from hip hop and heavy metal to contemporary electronic music.
