Released in 2025, Now Would Be A Good Time is the debut album from Melbourne trio Folk Bitch Trio. The record blends intimate folk harmonies with atmospheric indie rock, sharp lyricism and a distinctly modern sense of humour. Across the album, Heide Peverelle, Jeanie Pilkington and Gracie Sinclair explore relationships, heartbreak, isolation, desire and the strange frustrations of being young in the 2020s.
From the vulnerable Moth Song and hypnotic Hotel TV to the spacious Cathode Ray and closing folk piece Mary's Playing The Harp, the album moves effortlessly between intimate acoustic moments and fuller indie-rock arrangements. Released through Jagjaguwar, this single-LP edition features the complete ten-track album.
