Originally released in 2022, Preacher's Daughter is the debut studio album from Ethel Cain, the project of American singer-songwriter Hayden Silas Anhedönia. A sprawling and deeply cinematic record, it blends slowcore, gothic folk, Americana and atmospheric rock into a haunting narrative centred on religious trauma, family, desire and the search for escape.
Across thirteen tracks, Cain builds an immersive Southern Gothic world, moving from the soaring American Teenager and expansive A House In Nebraska to the unsettling Ptolemaea, Sun Bleached Flies and Strangers. This 2025 vinyl edition presents the complete album across two LPs in a gatefold sleeve.
