Originally released in 1990, Heaven Or Las Vegas is the sixth studio album from Scottish trio Cocteau Twins and widely regarded as their defining work. Released through 4AD, the album distils Elizabeth Fraser's ethereal vocals, Robin Guthrie's shimmering, effects-heavy guitars and Simon Raymonde's atmospheric bass into a lush blend of dream pop, alternative rock and proto-shoegaze. Tracks including Cherry-Coloured Funk, Iceblink Luck and the title track capture the band's uniquely otherworldly sound.
This 180g Remastered 1LP edition was released in 2014 through 4AD, cut from HD audio and pressed on audiophile-weight vinyl. The ten-track sequence includes Pitch The Baby, Fifty-Fifty Clown, I Wear Your Ring, Fotzepolitic and Frou-Frou Foxes In Midsummer Fires, presenting one of the most influential and enduring albums in the history of dream pop.
