Released in 2026, The Dark is the ninth studio album from Chelsea Wolfe, marking another shift in the Los Angeles artist's continually evolving sound. Produced with Jennifer Decilveo and Ben Chisholm, the album moves through dark folk, gothic rock and alternative textures, combining heavy guitars, atmospheric instrumentation and Wolfe's commanding vocals.
Written around themes of transformation, letting go and confronting inner darkness, The Dark balances heaviness with a more organic and immediate approach. Across ten tracks, Wolfe explores mysticism, memory, grief and desire, from the brooding Cold and Seethe through to Death Is Not The End and Dancer In The Sky. This Indie Exclusive edition is pressed on limited Translucent Dark Grass Green vinyl.
