Originally released in 1976, Desire is one of Bob Dylan's most celebrated and adventurous albums, blending folk, rock and world-music influences with vivid, narrative-driven songwriting. Recorded during the period surrounding Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue, the album features a richly collaborative cast of musicians, including violinist Scarlet Rivera and backing vocals from Emmylou Harris and Ronee Blakley.
The album opens with the epic Hurricane, followed by Isis, Mozambique, One More Cup Of Coffee and Oh, Sister, before moving through the sprawling Joey, Romance In Durango, Black Diamond Bay and Sara. This 50th Anniversary edition is pressed on 150g vinyl and marks the album's return to vinyl in a new 2026 pressing.
