Released in 2023, Toil And Trouble is the fourth solo album from Southern California singer-songwriter Angelo De Augustine. Created largely in isolation over almost three years, the album inhabits a strange, dreamlike world where intimate folk songwriting, delicate instrumentation and surreal imagery combine into something quietly otherworldly.
Across twelve tracks, De Augustine explores the tension between reality and escapism, creating music that feels both fragile and deeply immersive.
