Radiohead - Kid A (2LP)

Originally released in 2000, Kid A is the fourth studio album from Oxford's Radiohead and one of the most radical reinventions in modern alternative music. Following the success of OK Computer, the band moved away from conventional guitar rock, embracing electronic production, ambient textures, jazz, krautrock and 20th-century classical influences. The result is a tense, atmospheric and deeply immersive record built around songs such as Everything In Its Right Place, The National Anthem, Idioteque and How To Disappear Completely.

This 2016 reissue is pressed as a 2LP set on black vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves. The ten-track album is spread across four sides, with the hidden track Untitled following Motion Picture Soundtrack on the original release sequence. Widely regarded as one of Radiohead's most important albums, Kid A remains a landmark in the meeting of alternative rock and electronic music.
