Released in 2025, Some Kind Of Alchemy is the third studio album from Sydney trio Mansionair, following Happiness, Guaranteed. The album explores the complexities of human connection, using imagery of fire, magnetism and gravitational cycles to examine how relationships can shape, challenge and ultimately transform us. Mansionair's atmospheric electronic sound is paired with expansive melodies and emotionally direct songwriting, creating a record that feels both intimate and cinematic.
The album moves between moments of tension and release, reflecting the duality of closeness and distance, holding on and letting go. The Transparent Blue vinyl edition presents the album on a single LP and features the singles Lose Yourself Again and ATLAS, alongside richly textured tracks such as Like Fire and Skin On Skin.
