Originally released in 1987, Kick is the sixth studio album from Australian rock icons INXS and the record that transformed the band into international superstars. Produced by Chris Thomas and mixed by Bob Clearmountain, the album combines rock, funk, pop and dance influences with Michael Hutchence's unmistakable charisma, delivering a run of defining singles including Need You Tonight, New Sensation, Devil Inside, Never Tear Us Apart and Mystify.
This 2017 Remastered Edition is pressed as a 1LP 180g vinyl record and housed in a gatefold sleeve. Released on 17 November 2017 through Mercury Records and Petrol Electric, the 12-track sequence features the original album in full, from the opening Guns In The Sky through to Tiny Daggers. Kick remains the commercial and creative pinnacle of INXS's career and one of the defining Australian rock albums of the 1980s.
