Gin Wigmore - Beautiful Mess (LP)

Released in 2026, Beautiful Mess is the fourth studio album from New Zealand singer-songwriter Gin Wigmore, marking her first full-length release in eight years. Recorded largely during a week-long session in the Palm Springs desert with longtime collaborators Dave Goodison and Steven Padin, the album draws on the highs and lows of Wigmore’s past decade, exploring love, loss, divorce, motherhood and rebuilding a life while retaining her unmistakable grit and character.

This limited-edition Bleeding Heart coloured vinyl pressing features the album’s twelve-track sequence, divided into two distinct halves. The first leans into country and Americana influences, while the second turns towards louder rock ’n’ roll, reflecting the album’s contrast between softness and grit. Released on 17 July 2026 through Universal Music New Zealand, Beautiful Mess includes Country Diamond, Tip Of My Tongue, Rodeo and the title track, marking a bold and deeply personal return from one of New Zealand’s most distinctive voices.
