Originally released in 2008, Los Angeles is the second studio album from Flying Lotus and a landmark release in the evolution of experimental beat music. Drawing from hip hop, jazz, electronic music and abstract beat-making, the album is dense, intricate and constantly shifting, with warped samples, off-kilter rhythms and atmospheric textures creating a distinctly futuristic sound.
Featuring tracks such as Brainfeeder, Breathe. Something/Stellar Star, Camel, GNG BNG and Parisian Goldfish, Los Angeles captures the restless creativity of the Los Angeles beat scene while establishing Flying Lotus as one of electronic music's most innovative producers.
