Originally released in 2017, don't smile at me is the debut EP from Los Angeles singer and songwriter Billie Eilish, originally recorded when she was just 14 and 15 years old. Produced primarily by her brother FINNEAS, the eight-track collection introduced Eilish's minimalist blend of alternative pop, electronic production and dark R&B, with Ocean Eyes, bellyache and idontwannabeyouanymore establishing her as one of the most distinctive new voices in contemporary pop.

This limited-edition Clear BioVinyl pressing was released on 1 May 2026 through Darkroom/Interscope Records and features the original eight-track sequence. Made using BioVinyl technology, the pressing replaces petroleum-based materials with used cooking oil and waste gases, while the packaging uses recycled and FSC-certified materials. From the atmospheric Ocean Eyes to the understated Hostage, don't smile at me remains a remarkably assured introduction to the sound that would define Eilish's early career.
